Vingt défauts de sécurité ont été identifiés dans les logiciels Microsoft
dont Windows, Internet Explorer, Office, Windows Defender et Windows Live
OneCare. Les failles les plus sévères permettent à un individu malveillant
de prendre le contrôle à distance de l'ordinateur de sa victime ou à un
virus de s'exécuter notamment via une page web ou un document piégé. Les
failles Word et Excel révélées depuis le 05/12/06 sont corrigées.
